Pizza & Paint Party

We had a great time this Friday at our first Pizza & Paint Party!  More than 25 kids turned out to enjoy the pizza, drawing/painting, and movies! We'll be doing this event every month so stay tuned for updates.  #artkidsinc #kiddieturnup

Superhero Time!!!

Painting class this week was a really fun one!  Our ARTkids created their own characters today. They imagined themselves as Superheroes even developing back stories and new super powers! #awesomejob #artkidsinc

Drawing Class Cancellation

Pizza & Paint Party

This Friday we are kicking off our Monthly Pizza & Paint Parties!  All ages are welcome as we will be enjoying a few animated movies, pizza, painting/drawing activities, and games.

Mitch-Match Faces Project

As part of our Mitch-Match Faces project our ARTkids first had to draw their eyes before they had the chance to experiment with watercolors and acrylics to begin painting the first half of their projects! #ARTkidsinc

Each One Teach One

With every class we try to challenge our ARTkids to not only think outside of the box with their creativity but to also work together to discover new techniques and solutions within in art.  Our returning students have been doing an exceptional job, sharing their knowledge and experience from our previous course with the new students.  It's exciting to see everyone working together and asking each other questions before calling the instructor over for help!  #artkidsinc

ARTkids Shirt Designs

Big Cats (Drawing & Painting)

This week we launched our new 12 week Drawing & Painting classes in our new ARTkids location!  Our students new and returning chose which Big Cat they wanted to create which ranged from Lions to Cheetahs.

Our drawing and painting students first had to sketch out their Big Cats and then the real work began.  For the drawing class they had to begin to work in the detail and shading, while our painting class began to work in the colors of their animals and backgrounds.

Open House / Showcase Recap

This past Saturday ARTkids officially opened the doors to our very first location and it was a tremendous success as we hosted friends, families and supporters for our very first showcase!  Our students had the chance to show off their work and explain some of the lessons that they have learned in our drawing and painting programs so far! We're very proud of all that ARTkids has accomplished and we're very excited for our future.

This Saturday, March 8th from 11am-6pm we'll be hosting an Open House, there will be light refreshments, fun activities and artwork from our current ARTkids on display!
